From VP of Marketing to new CEO in Times of Crisis - Jennifer Palmer, CEO at Gerber Finance

Jennifer Palmer is the Chief Executive Officer of Gerber Finance Inc., a leading finance partner offering bespoke asset-based lending solutions for companies experiencing accelerated growth. Since assuming the helm, Jennifer has increased and diversified the company’s customer base and grown the team with top hires. She recently launched the firm’s Natural Products Group opening a west coast office to support the growing portfolio of wellness companies that make products ranging from clean labels to organic and non-GMO, to sustainable design and packaging. As one of the rare female CEOs in the finance industry, Jennifer is passionate about supporting and encouraging more women to achieve C-suite roles.

I loved speaking with Jennifer about her journey from working as an attorney to joining Gerber’s marketing department and quickly ascending through the ranks until becoming a CEO on January 1st, 2020. We speak about what Jennifer has learned in her first months of CEO which coincided with the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic and Jennifer shares some excellent lessons learned.
